Jiří Ulip

Jiří Ulip
has been living in Brno since 2000 when he came to study English at Masaryk University.
After spending some time as a freelance translator he joined a localization company Moravia where he tried out positions involving engineering, translation, and project management, to finally settle in as a Solutions Manager for Europe and Asia, which is the position he currently holds.
A few years back Jiří a bit idealistically jumped on the bandwagon of giving back to the society and joined the Pirate party. A year ago he got elected to be a representative in the Brno City parliament and through an unintended turn of events he became part of the city government where he serves as Councilor for Transparency and IT.
